HIDA Streamlining Conference Attracts 958 Registrants For Learning And Networking Opportunities
Education sessions called “invaluable” by participants of first virtual Streamlining Healthcare Expo & Business Exchange

Alexandria, VA – The Health Industry Distributors Association’s Streamlining Healthcare Expo & Business Exchange attracted 958 registrants who successfully engaged in three days of education sessions, virtual expos, and private businesses meetings during HIDA’s first-ever virtual conference.
Attendees of the September 22-24 event conducted via a virtual platform called the event “invaluable” and “timely.” Conference tracks included the COVID-19 Supply Chain Summit, Healthcare Strategic Accounts Summit, and Independent Distributors Summit. Attendees also engaged in multiple virtual expos providing the opportunity to learn about innovative products and services. They met in more than 700 private meetings.
Nearly 97% of attendees said the event was a success thanks to the format’s convenient and effective way to meet and learn.
“It’s a testament to our HIDA members and the HIDA staff that we were able to bring the end-to-end supply chain together to pave the path forward,” said HIDA President & CEO Matthew J. Rowan. ”It’s more important now than ever to collaborate during this time of change for the industry and the nation.”
All of the conference educational sessions were recorded, enabling event attendees to listen to the sessions again until October 25 using their conference log-in information.
