More Action Needed: Second Congressional Letter Opposing Tariffs On Healthcare Products

In a follow up to yesterday’s request to contact your Senators, HIDA Government Affairs has worked with House members Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and Susan Brooks (R-IN) to lead a Congressional letter asking Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar to weigh in with the United States Trade Representative (USTR) Robert Lighthizer requesting the removal of gloves, gowns and other critical medical equipment from the fourth list of proposed Section 301 Tariffs.

HIDA Government Affairs has drafted an email you can send to your Representative asking them to sign onto this important Congressional letter. Please take a moment to contact your Member of Congress and let them know you oppose tariffs on medical equipment and urge your Representative to sign onto the Eshoo/Brooks letter to Secretary Azar.
