Michael Dubose, President, Fisher Healthcare Channel, Thermo Fisher Scientific, To Lead HIDA In 2022
Alexandria, VA – December 7, 2021 – Michael Dubose, President, Fisher Healthcare channel, Thermo Fisher Scientific, will officially assume the role of HIDA Board Chair beginning January 2022. He received the gavel today from current Chair Gina Marchese, Executive Vice President of Marketing for Concordance Healthcare Solutions.
“I am humbled and honored to have been selected by my peers to serve as HIDA’s next chairman of the board,” said Dubose. “Our healthcare distribution networks have played a critical role in responding to the needs of our citizens during these unprecedented times. Together, we will continue with a sense of urgency and commitment to supply the necessary products and services to help with the healing of our nation.”
As President of the Fisher Healthcare channel at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Dubose is responsible for the Diagnostic Laboratory Business which serves hospital, government, reference and independent labs; acute care facilities; physician office labs and clinics; and group purchasing organizations (GPO).
“Michael’s deep knowledge of the healthcare continuum is invaluable, especially as we continue to navigate a public health emergency,” said Marchese. “He also brings broad perspectives and insights from his leadership experience outside of healthcare and in international markets.”

Dubose’s educational background includes degrees in Music and Business Administration from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. He serves as a public Board Director for Watts Water Technology Inc. and he is a Board of Trustee Director for Florida A&M University. Dubose is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC). He serves on the Executive Leadership Team for the Atlanta Council for the Boy Scouts of America of which he is an Eagle Scout. He is president of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity National Foundation.
