HIDA Announces New Partner For Industry Data Program In 2021

Alexandria, Va. – The Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) has selected Decision Resources Group (DRG) as the business partner to operate its industry data program beginning January 1, 2021.

This HIDA program aggregates distributor sales data for reporting market share and other market trends to the broader industry. After an extensive assessment process, DRG was selected by a subcommittee of the HIDA Board of Directors, which included participation and input by various distributor members of HIDA. DRG is a comprehensive provider of healthcare data to the life sciences sector in the United States and around the world, operating in 17 locations worldwide.

“We are very pleased to partner with DRG beginning in 2021,” said Matthew J. Rowan, HIDA President and CEO.

The current partner, GHX Market Intelligence, will continue to operate the HIDA program in all respects as the exclusive HIDA-endorsed data provider through December 31, 2020. The HIDA program has sometimes been referred to as the GHX Program, and previously as HPIS.
