29% Increase In Distributor Companies Attending

Streamlining Healthcare Conference

Alexandria, Va. – The Health Industry Distributors Association recently announced that nearly 30% more distributor companies will participate in its 2014 HIDA Streamlining Healthcare Conference compared to its 2013 event. The annual meeting which takes place in Chicago, September 30 – October 2, attracts hundreds of distributors, manufacturers and providers to network and conduct more than 2,000 meetings between business partners.

HIDA released additional conference updates, including: 

• 101 affiliate meeting rooms are reserved for private business meetings




• Healthcare products distributor Henry Schein will have more than 40 of its top medical sales leaders attend the event for the second year in a row to do business with leading manufacturers and providers




• The conference’s first-ever Distributor Expo features 41 distributor companies in a reverse-expo format




• HIDA will release its new Best Practices in Contract Administration white paper on October 2 during the Contract Administration Workshop
