2017 Outlook for Quality Metrics

February 16, 2017

Webinar recordings older than 1 year are available upon request. Please email hida@hida.org for assistance.

With the ongoing volume-to-value shift in healthcare reimbursement, quality metrics are more important than ever for your healthcare customers. Each market segment has its own complicated set of metrics which may cover a range of conditions and procedures such as pressure ulcers, infections, re-hospitalizations, vaccinations, falls, and more. Providers’ performance on these metrics directly impacts how much they are paid. This presents enormous sales opportunities for suppliers who can show how their product impacts specific metrics. Join HIDA staff members, Linda Rouse O’Neill, Vice President of Government Affairs and Josh Babb, Director of Government Affairs for a market-by-market update on Medicare quality metrics.

You'll gain a better understanding of:

  • What quality metrics are and why they are so important for your healthcare customers
  • Key quality metrics per market
  • Which metrics extend into nearly every segment
  • How to talk about key metrics with your customers
