Section 232 Tariffs: Take Action By October 17

HIDA is pleased to announce new resources for our members to respond to the U.S. Commerce Department’s Section 232 tariff investigation on medical products.

HIDA is preparing industry-wide comments on the impact additional tariffs would have on the medical supply chain. We encourage HIDA members to submit their own comments. Including as many voices as possible will be impactful.

To assist this effort, we have created an example comment letter as a guide. We encourage you to use this text as a prompt for your company’s letter that includes specific details of your business and its role in the medical supply chain.
