Our keynote speaker, Congressman Richard Hudson (R-NC) , will discuss his important leadership role on the upcoming Pandemic and All Hazards Preparedness Act (PAHPA) reauthorization. Congressman Hudson has served in Congress since 2013 and was elected by his colleagues to House Republican leadership as fourth in line to the Speaker for the 118th Congress. He currently sits on the Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over health care issues, including those impacting HIDA members.
