Healthcare Supply Chain 2020:
Serving the Patient Across the Care Continuum

 

Powerful forces are driving fundamental change throughout healthcare and providers need their supply chain partners to help them adapt.

That’s the message in HIDA’s latest Thought Leaders white paper, published in April 2016. The HIDA Educational Foundation launched the Thought Leaders initiative to consider ways that the supply chain can best support the delivery of healthcare throughout the care continuum.

HIDA Thought Leaders including the HIDA board of directors, the HIDA Educational Foundation board of directors, and industry guests, met in December to develop the recommendations summarized in the white paper, Healthcare Supply Chain 2020: Serving the Patient Across the Care Continuum.

The ultimate goal of this effort is to inform the industry conversation about how to make healthcare more efficient, more affordable, and more effective for the benefit of every healthcare consumer in every stage of their care.
