CMS Emergency Preparedness Rule & Supply Chain Impact

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released a new emergency preparedness regulation to establish consistent emergency preparedness requirements across providers participating in Medicare and Medicaid. Providers must be compliant by November 15, 2017.

This new regulation offers the supply chain an opportunity to educate and partner with customers. HIDA Government Affairs has put together a brief document which includes:

  • Opportunities for the supply chain
  • An overview of the new rule
  • Additional resources regarding implementation
