PWH/HIDA Inspirational Award (Jana Quinn Spirit Award)
In 2009, the Professional Women of Healthcare (PWH) created this inspirational award in memory of Jana Quinn. Jana was a mother of two, wife, colleague and friend. She had a successful career in the healthcare industry and courageously fought multiple diagnosis of cancer before passing in 2007.

In honor of Jana Quinn PWH and HIDA will recognize an inspirational person in the medical industry. The PWH/HIDA Inspirational Award (Jana Quinn Spirit Award) will be awarded to an individual (male or female) who not only professionally draw others to them but as their success in life demonstrates qualities of a mentor, role model, advisor, and family person. The winner of the PWH/HIDA  Inspirational Award (Jana Quinn Spirit Award) will be announced at the 2010 HIDA MedSurg Conference & Expo™.

Nominations for the award will open in 2010.
