HIDA Streamlining Healthcare Expo & Business Exchange Goes Virtual

June 22, 2020

Alexandria, VA – The 2020 Streamlining Healthcare Expo & Business Exchange has gone virtual.

“In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, we’ve made the important decision to continue with HIDA’s flagship event, but for our participants’ personal health and safety, we’ve decided to make the event 100% virtual,” said HIDA President & CEO Matthew J. Rowan. “Now more than ever, it’s important for our industry to come together to understand the impact of COVID-19 on the healthcare supply chain and to plan the path forward.”

This virtual event for distributors, manufacturers, GPOs, IDNs and providers will be held September 22-24, offering two days of short, information-packed live sessions with the third day dedicated to programming customized for independent distributors. The online education sessions include insights into how providers are preparing for the potential next wave of coronavirus cases, preparation for the increased demand for elective procedures, and a forecast from popular economist Alan Beaulieu.

Participants also will be able to connect with business partners in virtual meeting rooms and communicate with exhibitors in virtual expos.

No technical skills are required, and there’s no software to download or install.
