David Mckinley Assumes Chairmanship of

HIDA Educational Foundation Board of Directors


Alexandria, Va. – The Board of Directors of the HIDA Educational Foundation recently elected David McKinley, President, Medical Group, Henry Schein, Inc., as its new chairman. The Foundation’s mission is to build a more effective and efficient healthcare supply channel through networking, government affairs advocacy, business intelligence, and education


Henry Schein’s Medical Group serves physician offices, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, clinical laboratories, and other alternate care markets. McKinley has held his current position as President since 2008, after serving as President of Henry Schein’s Dental Prosthetic Group and Practice Solutions Technology business unit. He has served on the Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2011.


“Dave’s commitment to our industry and extensive knowledge put him in an ideal position to help us make the healthcare supply chain stronger,” said HIDA Educational Foundation Executive Director Elizabeth Hilla. “He’s a great choice to lead the organization.”


Prior to joining Henry Schein, McKinley was Group Vice President of Olympus America and responsible for the three endoscopy divisions: surgical, gastroenterology, and services. He has worked with a variety of leading healthcare manufacturers in sales, marketing, and management positions, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University.
