How To Set Up And Execute A Site Visit From A Member Of Congress (MOC)

As part of HIDA’s ongoing strategy to educate Members of Congress (MOC) on the healthcare distribution industry, we would like to encourage you to invite your Representative and/or Senator(s) to come and visit a distribution facility located in their state or district. Holding these kinds of site visits are extraordinarily helpful in conveying the importance of those issues that directly impact our industry such as the impact of tariffs on healthcare products, medical device tax and emergency preparedness and response.

HIDA Government Affairs is eager to help you throughout the process of setting up and holding a Congressional site visit. As a starting point we have created a new “Site Visit Toolkit” for you to review and use as you work toward hosting a MOC at your facility.

If you are interested in participating in this effort please reach out to either Mary Beth Spencer on the HIDA Government Affairs Team and we will help coordinate and execute the event.

Additionally, if you host a MOC without our help, please let us know and we can follow up with the Member’s staff in Washington to continue the education campaign
