Deadline Approaching: Contact Your Members of Congress

Both the House and Senate are working on letters to request the removal of healthcare items from the Fourth List of proposed items for Chinese tariffs. HIDA Government Affairs has drafted emails you can send to your Senators and Representatives asking them to sign onto these important Congressional letters.

Please note – there are letters circulating in BOTH Chambers, so you must contact your Senators AND your Representatives separately. HIDA Government Affairs has provided links to drafts to submit requests to all three of your Members of Congress below.

Please take a moment to contact your Members of Congress and let them know you oppose the consideration of previously removed healthcare commodities as part of the Fourth List of tariffs, and urge your Senators to sign onto the Portman letter to Ambassador Lighthizer and your Representative to the Eshoo/Brooks letter to Secretary Azar.
