ACTION
NEEDED: Tell Congress to Act on Medical Device Tax
The
current moratorium on the 2.3% excise tax on medical devices is set to
expire on December 31, 2019. If Congress fails to repeal or extend the
moratorium on the tax before the end of this month, the tax will go into
effect on January 1, 2020.
Congress
still has a long to do list before the end of the year. It is important
that both Senators and Representatives hear from their constituents that
this issue is a priority and that they must act NOW.
