The Health Industry Distributors Association is a proud supporter of HDMA’s upcoming Emergency Preparedness – Supply Chain Coordination Seminar. In light of the tragic events in Japan, businesses in multiple sectors are re-evaluating their continuity and emergency preparedness plans. As such, the seminar will tackle the difficult questions about how to prepare for and respond during a crisis when communications and logistics barriers prevent business-as-usual. This is a must-attend program for distributor, manufacturer, retail and hospital executives responsible for business continuity, risk management, operations and crisis communication.
The seminar will be held on Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Md. Rx Response and associations across the healthcare supply chain have partnered to bring together federal and state health officials and business continuity experts from the private sector for this event. At this program, you will:
- Understand the role of logistics and communications in supply chain collaboration and how it’s evolving to increase resilience in planning for and responding to emergencies;
- Explore potential solutions to increase resilience in the event of an emergencies or other risks to the healthcare supply chain;
- And much more!
